How to root Kitkat Mediatek and other phones (No PC needed)

As you know, gaining root access is extremely important especially if you are advanced Android users who are using your devices for more than just a regular phone. Basically, rooting is referring to an unofficial operation used for unchaining the internal system of a smartphone or tablet. But how can you root your Kitkat phone? Well, if you choose to follow this root solution then you will be able to remove the factory and carrier restrictions that are implemented on the stock Android 4.4 KitKat firmware. Therefore, after rooting you will be able to “play” with the built-in programs, apps and features, being able to remove, add or change everything you want.

Rooting your Kitkat Android phone involves connecting it to the PC, using ADB, and several other steps. But developers have now released a new tool that makes rooting many Android devices as simple as installing an app and running it.

Introducing Kingroot:
This is so far the easiest way to root any phones including MTK (Mediatek Phones) running 4.4 Kitkat.

The good thing about this process is that you don't need to use a PC and you just download the files directly on your phone.

1. Download this APK File

2. Paste to your SDCard, install and launch.

3. Click the circle and follow on-screen instructions.

4. Done! No need to reboot.
